IFCA Committee Member – voluntary

Across England

There’s a good chance you already have a keen interest in the health of our country’s marine ecosystems. Now we’d like you to become part of them. 10 Inshore Fisheries and Conservation Authorities (IFCAs) are being established around the coast of England to promote healthy seas, champion sustainable fisheries and boost viable industry.

These committees will give everyone who uses or impacts on the marine ecosystem
a say in how it’s being managed. Whether that’s commercial fishermen, local business owners, conservationists or recreational users of the sea.

If you can spare at least one day a month to help shape decisions in your local marine community, you could play an important role in protecting the resources along your stretch of coastline.

Put yourself in the picture. Apply now at www.ifcamembers.co.uk
